Well, I don't know what you think about dogs in general, but many fear them while many like them... Some have ten around them others can't stand next to them...
I want to talk here about the Pit Bull, who is deemed like the worst kind and in the states latelly many groups are trying abolish as a pet.
Doing some research on the subject will highlight that the Pit Bull is one of the safest dogs to be around... Actually, you are most likely to be bitten by a cocker spaniel than a pit bull. Ok they do look mean, but come on we are the one's who have been training them as fight dogs since 1000 years!

I have to disagree on that one. When babies show up dead or maulled at a hospital, it is more often from a pitbull, and I know that from friends that work in hospitals. I also have a friend that raised a pitbull specifically to be gentle, and as soon as it was of age it turned vicious. They are very loyal and loving dogs, but when they snap, they don't stop until what's in their teeth is dead.
