The Family of "It's Playtime!"

The family of "It's Playtime!" is growing :)
Now we are two writers reporting on what is fun and going on around us!
Please, welcome Shazzz into the group.

Shaolin Monks Vs. Ninja

I read this and couldn't stop laughing! Reminded me of old Kung Fu movies I used to watch when I was a kid... So the Shaolin are feeling bad because an internet dude posted on some forum tha they were beaten by a ninja :)

As if there isn't enough issues between China and Japan already!

So let me see, if I want to take sides... Who will win Shaolin Monk or Ninja???

Deepest blue: Crater Lake

On my latest motorcycle trip I got a chance to see Crater Lake in Oregon.

The lake is in the middle of a park about 1 hour south of Bend, OR, and about 2 hours north of the California border. It is an old volcano that erupted for thousands of years creating a massive whole.
Snow and underground springs feed the lake. It is uninhabited, so I assume the water should be quite clean. I have never seen a deeper blue. I don't know if minerals from the old volcano eruption, or what, but I'm curious to know if there is any other body of water with a deeper blue. Pictures don't do it justice. The view is spectacular, and ride up the mountain is sublime.

Gene Therapy: science or witch-craft?

images of Total Recall come to mind every time I hear about DNA or gene therapy. Are we ready for this?
For all we know, someone might look and function normally, but the effects could be on such a profound level that we might not know to gauge the side effects.
In the case of the article, the woman died, so duh, it didn't work. Does anyone know if there's any international governing body? historically, such efforts fail. But perhaps all the DNA scientists could have their private version of twitter, and when one does an "oops" the others know about it. Can we call it: Scwitter?

The teen that broke IPhone's lock!

Ok, you all heard about the IPHONE being hacked, but get this, it is a teenager that did it!

And he got pretty well at it, getting paid a Nissan 350Z and 3 Iphones in exchange for the hacked Iphone... On top of that the company that got the piece from him promised him a consultancy job!

Check his blog on how he did in the link in the title or view it at

The Holy Airlines!

Apparently, the Vatican launched last Monday the world's first airline for Catholic pilgrims.

"Complete with Vatican logos on headrests and air hostesses' uniforms, the inaugural flight traveled from Rome's Fiumicino airport for the shrine of Lourdes in France.

The Vatican aims to serve 150,000 pilgrims a year on its chartered Boeing 737, run by Italy's Mistral Air.

Destinations range from the shrine of Fatima in Portugal to Mount Sinai in Egypt, where Moses is said to have received the 10 Commandments from God.

In-flight entertainment on the way to the world's holy sites will, somewhat predictably, be religious in nature, the Vatican said." Rome, Reuters reported...

What next for the Vatican... Space trips to Mars!

Lebanon as a Safe Destination

Where is your mobile from?

Ok, most of us know where the mobile is from... but is it true? Apparently there is a way to check... Try this:

Press the following on your mobile *#06# and the-international mobile equipment identity number appears.

Check the 7th and 8th digits...

IF the digit number Seven & Eight is 02 or 20 that mean it was assembled in the Emirates which is very Bad quality

IF the digit number Seven & Eight is 08 or 80 that means it was manufactured in Germany which is not bad

IF the digit number Seven & Eight is 01 or 10 that mean it's manufactured in Finland which is Good

IF the digit number Seven & Eight is 00 that means it was manufactured in original factory which is the best Mobile Quality ...

IF the digit number Seven & Eight is 13 that means it was assembled in Azerbaijan which is very poor quality and potentially very dangerous to your health!!!

God help us all :)
