Bush's UN Speech Full of Fone-eh-tick Pronunciations for World Leaders
One could look at it as the guy can't remember names and is doing his best to not offend others by mispronouncing their names. However, this is the President of USA, we all have more expectations of him. It's sad to see that he needs help pronouncing words. What else does he need help with?

in-flight WiFi
Genius, pure genius. Alaska Air claiming that by 2008 they'll have WiFi on their planes. Think of the possibilities:
- no more boring re-run episodes of obscure British shows
- no more lies from the front cabin, you check delays for yourself and find out if the airport is closed for fog, or the captain took a wrong turn at Albuquerque
- That presentation you were going to work on when you arrived at 9pm, done!
- watch plane crashes on youTube.com and scare the person next to you

Michael Schumacher & Ayrton Senna
If you're a fan of either drivers, this article is awesome. The article reveals a lot of inside private conversations. It shows you the psychology of both drivers and gives you a glimpse of how racing used to be 15 years ago.

McLaren: GUILTY!! banned & fined
Team Vodafone McLaren Mercedes have been found guilty of espionage. They have been stripped of their 2007 constructors points and banned from stepping on the podium, and fined $100 million.
This one is will be remembered in history, more on the story:

Led Zeppelin: 20 million in 1 day
So yesterday the news broke out of the upcoming Led Zeppelin reunion concert. The concert is a fund raiser for a charity. To get tickets, you need to register at the charity's web site. I guess they weren't ready for 20 million people to rush in ONE day.
Their network crashed and I'd imagine they're scrambling for more bandwidth to accommodate.
20 million in one day, Guardian put it best "Whole Lotta Love for Led Zeppelin"

LED ZEPPELIN, in concert 1 more time!!
We all say that we like music. But what I consider the definition on that is that if you would devote 5 minutes of a day to listen to a song, then you really like music. This is different from people that would:
- tolerate music
- have music running as background noise
- use music to cover construction sounds
- work in an un-insulated cubicle next to someone that DEOS like music
- born deaf
If none of the above applies to you, then you must at least like Led Zeppelin. Therefore, this piece of news is huge, massive, colossal, gargantuan....
I never thought I'd live to see the day when Led Zeppelin would be performing live again. Now I have to figure how to be in London on November 26.
This could be one of the best concerts EVER. It is at London's 02 Arena, and the concert benefits Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund.

Apple Offering Credit for Upset iphone customers :)
And who doesn't like a $100 credit!
Apparently, the new price cut on iphone has caused a big stir among customers who already bought the handset a couple of months ago!
This caused a rebellion and hordes of angry customers went to the streets and started wrecking cars, destroying shops and burning tires... The national guard went to the streets as the police couldn't handle the riots... And soon it was martial law all over the world...
Why oh why!!!
Ok that part was my imagination... So forget about it...
The true story is basically, as customers became upset Apple is giving them $100 credit.
In a letter on the company website Steve Jobs said: "Our early customers trusted us, and we must live up to that trust with our actions in moments like these."
Further details of how the refunds will work are to appear on the website this week.
Nice move if you ask me :)

Zain the X MTC
It is sad when a rebranding goes bad in several ways... What is worse is when someone discovers that the new brand name means D**K in some foreign language...
A brief history, the company called MTC is a telecom provider in several countries across the Middle East and Africa. They rebranded and revealed their new brandname a couple of days ago "Zain". The whole rebranding took a couple of years and many leaks and scandals and yesterday it ended with someone discovering that "Zain" means "D**K" or "P**IS" in Hebrew...
Well at least this is what those websites say...

Indian Jones IV
Oops! Or is it?
Well Shia LaBeouf let it slip at the MTV's Video Music Awards that the official title for Indian Jones IV is Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull! Apparently, it is one of six recently reported titles revealed in a Motion Pictures Association of America Title Registration Report.
LaBeouf goes "So I've been sworn to secrecy by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas not to tell you the title of the next Indiana Jones movie. What the hell, I'm 21 and we're in Vegas, baby, so here it goes. The official title to the next Indiana Jones installment: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."
Later on the title has been confirmed on the official Indiana Jones website. The movie opens on May 22, 2008.

UK's anti-gadget rules
2 years in prison for texting or fiddling with a gadget?? Communist Russia wasn't this oppressive. What's a techno-file to do in the UK? its a bit harsh I think. I've done the occasional swerve whist texting, but isn't that supposed to train us for future accident avoidance maneuvers?

Google Earth Flight Simulator
Ok the latest Easter Egg from Google!
This is the find of Marco Gallota, I think he was playing around Google and bam! He hit the jackpot :)
Apparently, Google has hidden in the latest version of GE a flight simulator. What for I don't know, no one knows, and no one from Google said anything until now...
But the application is there and it runs and works very well :) Ok I crashed like 20 times already, but no one said it is going to be easy, heck no one said it is there at the first place!
All you have to do to try it out is download the latest version of GE, start it up, move around in GS and then hit Ctrl+Alt+A (or if on OS X hit Command+Option+A) then you will get a popup where you select the type of plane you want to use. Currently two choices, either an F16 or an SR22 (which is easier as much slower) and from there on go and discover :)

Pit Bull
Well, I don't know what you think about dogs in general, but many fear them while many like them... Some have ten around them others can't stand next to them...
I want to talk here about the Pit Bull, who is deemed like the worst kind and in the states latelly many groups are trying abolish as a pet.
Doing some research on the subject will highlight that the Pit Bull is one of the safest dogs to be around... Actually, you are most likely to be bitten by a cocker spaniel than a pit bull. Ok they do look mean, but come on we are the one's who have been training them as fight dogs since 1000 years!
I found that edit on youtube, really good one!

Are we going Google?
Looking around one sees Google in many things these days. You have the search engine, the gmail, the blogs, the groups, earth, sky, ......................................... and now they are talking about the gphone and God knows what will come after that... So what is going on!
Well, they are doing it very well I have to admit. There isn't one google thing I tried and didn't like until now. There isn't a google thing that I tried and said I don't need as well.
I don't know, but I have this feeling google is winning not only the internet race, but anything related to technology race.
By the way did you hear about google brain? It is an idea on how google would look like in around yr 2020... Worth checking out :)
Soon we might start seeing google cars!

A Concept Car; Audi Cross Coupe Quattro
Ok another Audi story!
Their new concept car, Audi Cross Coupe Quattro! Hopefully once they launch it they will give it a different shorter name... Anyway this one is smashing, just look at it! If this isn't sexy what is!!!
I want to call this the converging vehicle!
Well what else would you call a car that is a mixed sports car, SUV and a coupe with 4 doors :P
Anyway will have to wait a year to give it a try, they predict the launch in mid 2008.

Energy Saving Google
The find of the day!
Someone out there did some calculation and came out with this result:
"... If Google had a black screen, taking in account the huge number of page views,
according to calculations, 750 megawatts/hour per year would be saved."
In response Google created a black version of its search engine, called Blackle,
with the exact same functions as the white version, but obviously with lower energy
consumption.
Check it out press here and go black!
